Wincanton use Axida HDi to support their dedicated Home Delivery operations for Marks & Spencer and Best Buy.

Axida HDi provides a complete view of the Marks & Spencer two-man home delivery operation and ensures that Wincanton make best use of their fleet and driver resources. The system allows them to capture real time customer order and delivery details from M&S stores and over the web to offer convenient delivery time slots based on the availability of the fleet

The system incorporates Paragon HDS (Home Delivery System) – specialist software that builds the delivery plan and optimises routes and schedules as new orders are taken. This feature allows Marks & Spencer customers to choose their preferred delivery time slots from a choice of available times, while reducing the carbon footprint of Wincanton’s home delivery fleet.

Best Buy, a leading consumer electronics retailer, uses Axida HDi home delivery software to support the company’s goal of providing customer service excellence to customers wherever they are. The Axida HDi software integrates with the retailer's business software system, SAP, and ensures flexible, reliable and successful first-time home deliveries.

The software facilitates the full end-to-end home delivery process by providing accurate and achievable delivery schedules to customers and Best Buy’s in-store team, the Blueshirts. As well as delivery date and time selection, the software offers other benefits, including multi-channel order capture, comprehensive order management and day of delivery tracking.

CEVA use Axida HDi to support their dedicated Home Delivery operation for Tesco Direct and their shared user operation CEVA Home which provides a “white gloves” delivery service for a range of organisations.

CEVA provide a dedicated operation for Tesco Direct to manage the delivery of large items such as sofas, beds, and garden furniture. The system enables Tesco customers to select delivery dates at the checkout, and automatically informs them of the delivery window on the day prior to delivery.

The system ensures that each order is fully monitored throughout the lifecycle, highlighting issues, enabling staff to rectify problems in a timely manner.

Laura Ashley uses Axida HDi to manage their furniture deliveries. Once purchased in store or on the web site HDi brings together stocked and Made to Order items for delivery. The system monitors the manufacturer lead time to ensure that customer promise dates are met.

Axida's HDi software is used to manage the home delivery of larger items held centrally, such as kitchens, bed rooms and sofas, this also allows bespoke items, such as kitchen worktops, to be tracked from a third party manufacturer to enable delivery and installation to be co-ordinated with each customer. The system uses radio frequency (RF) based track and trace system to effectively manage its growing number of customer deliveries since the launch of its internet shopping service, through the process of goods receipt, put-away, picking and dispatch.

Coupled with the use of an electronic proof-of-delivery (ePOD) system beyond the warehouse IKEA have complete visibility of order progress and stock movements in real time, from the moment it leaves its Central Distribution Centre in Peterborough to when it arrives at the customer's house.

Axida HDi is used to manage the home delivery of kitchens and bedrooms. Once ordered from store HDi gives full visibility and control of home deliveries from the initial data capture through to final order fulfilment with the aims of improving customer service standards and delivering operational efficiencies.
